Dr. Carolin Kaiser is a senior researcher in the data science group at the Nuremberg Institute for Market Decisions. In her recent research project, she explores how emotional speech can be synthesized by deep learning and how synthesized emotional speech impacts consumer behavior. Her former research project „Gaining Marketing Knowledge from Social Media Pictures by Computer Vision“ has been awarded the Innovation Prize of the German Market Research Association in 2016. Previously, she worked as a research associate at the Institute of Information Systems at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, where she earned her doctorate in the field of automated opinion analysis on the social web.
